Yoga, is about identifying habits and bringing about change. As discussed in they first foundation class Kriya Yoga the yoga of the niyamas (observances), tapas (to burn/ cook impurities/discomforts) ,svadhyaya, (self study) Isvara pranidhanani (surrender to a higher force). Using a strap as a weapon to go to war with your hamstrings probably won't do it. Have a great day.
