Why do we need therapy?

No-one is powerless, You are not powerless. When you are able to see the source and the reason for whatever ails you, you will be able to change trap your body or mind has created in order to deal with this problem. In order for you to make choices on how to heal, it is first important for you to see that you have a choice, and then be able to see what some of the possibilities are. It is all about trying to bring a balance with all parts of ourselves so that no part rules over the others. It can be a life-long journey. When one part of ourselves is dominant or takes over and another area is neglected, then it is said that we are out of balance. This can cause a state of ill-health. The art therapist helps the person to unravel areas of life, establish priorities, and offers support. In other words, the therapist looks at the whole of the person and not just one area.
