This page details the classes that are available in the art school. These are subject to change. If there is not a time that suits you please contact Síle directly. Individual tuition is also available. On occasion there are workshops that are run externally by Síle and these are advertised on her website www.designsbysile.com.
Homeschool Classes
Friday mornings 9-11 and 11-2
Children aged 6 to 16 years learn to draw using a variety of media. They create artwork using acrylics, watercolour pencils, pencil, charcoal, pastels, ink, glass paints and more. Join anytime! No previous art experience is required.
Class Plan: the class is run on a very relaxed basis. The studio is an art space for the students to use to create pieces of artwork they are proud of. There will be a project each week focusing on a particular medium and/or style. It is an exploratory class focused on developing the interests and skills of the individual. Bookings essential.

Intensive Drawing Skills - for Adults
Thursday 12-2
This class is provided to students who show a flair and talent for drawing.This class will appeal to those with an interest in drawing. It is aimed at teaching drawing techniques rather than artistic mediums. Students will be using paper and a variety of pencils. I prefer to encourage students on an individual basis depending on their interests, some may prefer to spend more time doing a self portrait while others may want to draw animals, etc.
Class Plan: some topics that will be covered: how to draw a face, how to shade, how to see shapes, how to draw in proportion, how to do a grid drawing, how to draw what you see.
Afterschool Classes
Thursdays & Fridays 3:30 - 4:30
